Guildwood Park - May 2009

The major event days seemed to come early this year. Before I knew it, Victoria Day came along, which of course meant gardening work. But after the yard work was done, my daughter and I went for a walk in the woods.

Early May in Guildwood Park means trilliums. By Victoria Day, though, the trilliums are starting to look a bit tired. The weather was sunny, cool and windy, but the paths through the woods were a bit muddy. We weren't the only ones exploring the woods and enjoying the views of the bluffs.

Guildwood Park May 2009

May 2009, Toronto, Canada.

Path into the woodlands from the entrance off Guildwood Parkway, just east of the high school. The canopy of leaves has started to form, resulting in a shady path.
