Introduction
West Hill is a historic community in Scarborough roughly bounded by Highland Creek, Morningside Avenue, Highway 401, and Kingston Road. Housing is primarily single-family homes, with new homes mainly north of Ellesmere Road. The main commercial area is around Old Kingston Road and Morrish Road. There are also small commercial plazas at Ellesmere Road and Conlins Road, and also at Ellesmere Road and Morrish Road.
The north-west corner of this area is home to the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, as well as the Centennial College HP Science and Technology Centre.
