Avenue Road & St. Clair
Avenue Road is a source of confusion. Is it an "avenue"? Or is it a "road"?. When St. Clair Avenue West was originally laid out, it was made wide enough to accomodate a streetcar line down its middle. Today, this streetcar line is the northern-most in the city.
