Bayview & Eglinton
Sunnybrook Plaza at the north-east corner of Bayview and Eglinton has the distinction of being the oldest strip mall in Canada. At the time in 1952, this was a suburban neighborhood, with active farmland not too far away. Today, it's solidly urban, with six lanes of traffic going by on Eglinton Avenue.
