King & Portland

Streetcar at the intersection of King Street West and Portland Street.

In the Spring of 2008, I started a new job at a company located on King Street West. During my lunch hour, I enjoy wandering around the area, sometimes with my camera. This stretch of King Street is home to a number of restored heritage buildings now used for offices, stores, and restaurants.

Those with young children will readily recognize this big red dog painted on the wall of the entrance to Scholastic Books.
