As you drive west along Danforth Avenue, the character of Danforth Avenue starts to get into focus at Main Street. Activity on the street increases, and you might see a streetcar cross through the intersection.

Train spotters, take note. The bridge over the CN tracks is a good spot to view passing VIA and GO trains. In particular, at about 23 minutes past the hour (outside of morning and afternoon rush hours) you can see both eastbound and westbound GO trains stop here. Currently, construction is under way to add a third track between Union Station and Scarborough Station.
