Yonge & College
The intersection is dominated by College Park, a complex of shops and condominiums. Just east of here, you can find Maple Leaf Gardens, longtime home of the Toronto Maple Leafs. But the Leafs no longer play here. A couple of years ago they moved to the Air Canada Centre (sometimes nicknamed "the Hangar") south of Union Station. In the past, the Gardens played host not only to hockey but also to concerts and other events.
Currently, they are trying to find another use for the building. Amongst the proposals that have come and gone was one that would have turned the building into a market.
