Mount Pleasant
Mount Pleasant Road between Davisville and Eglinton is home to an eclectic mix of shops catering to the local residents of the nearby apartment towers, as well as old single family homes along the nice tree-lined side streets.
One of the big attractions of Mount Pleasant is George's Trains, one of the biggest model railroad stores in Canada. But although it has a great selection of North American models, it is woefully inadequate when it comes to European trains. European modellers can still shop for track, paints, and scenery material.
I sometimes see model railroaders leave George's with more than $1000 worth of trains and accessories. When I see that, I'm sometimes tempted to applaud!
