Yonge and Queens Quay
This is where Yonge Street begins. Yonge Street runs north forming the central spine of the city, and ends in a marsh 56km to the north. One Yonge Street is the Toronto Star building.
Note that the Yonge Street historical plaque is now incorrect. Highway 11 now begins north of Barrie, about 100km away. |
