Lower Highland Creek
South of Lawrence Avenue East, much of Highland Creek flows alongside the Highland Creek Sewage Treatment Plant. Sometimes, the wind carries the smell of the sewage some distance. But the smell isn't too noticable when walking the paved path along the creek.
From here, the paved path leads north to Colonel Danforth Park and south to East Point Park.
