2534 in the Summer of 2000

July 29, 2000. Brighton, Ontario, Canada

When people looked at the state of former CNR locomotive 2534 during the spring of 1999, many wondered if it would ever be reassembled again, myself included. (Here is a photo showing what it looked then.)

But the owners of "Memory Junction" in Brighton surprised us, and this is how the locomotive looks now! (The tender still needs work.)

Another surviving locomotive of CNR class N-4-a is the 2615 on display near Haliburton.
