Pileated Woodpecker

Pileated woodpecker spotted in woods behind the high school.
This was a hard bird to photograph since it spent most of its
time hammering at the base of the tree stump.
Another time when I was walking through the park, I noticed some wood chips on the petals
of some Trilliums at the base of an old tree. I heard some tapping.
I looked up and saw a woodpecker not more than 2 meters above me.
