Purple Trillium in Guildwood

Where you find the showy white trilliums, occasionally you can also find purple trilliums (Trillium erectum). But while you can easily find hundreds or thousands of white trilliums, only a few purple trilliums can be found. In comparison with the white variety, the purple trillium is very similar, but the flower is smaller.
